When PNC Bank wanted help with a distressed hotel and resort, they called on their friends in Michigan to dispose of it in a soft Pocono Mountains market. We had enjoyed a strong relationship with PNC on the lending side and they knew they could count on us for the disposition of this project.  Through our efforts PNC was able to maximize their commercial loan recovery and experience success where they didn’t expect it.

When Comerica Bank needed to dispose of a hotel near the Chrysler World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, they turned to their trusted real estate brokerage partner, NAI, ho had handled numerous previous disposition assignments for them. While a quick disposition was the goal, NAI Farbman worked with the property management group to make cost effective suggestions that would help enhance value upon sale. A nationwide marketing effort was undertaken and a first time buyer to Michigan of hotels from the  Washington DC area was found and introduced to the market. After carefully qualifying them as a buyer based on getting references from previous transactions and verifying their source of funds, the sale closed without any re-trading within the due diligence period.
